Fun Facts about Amanda: She is the youngest contestant competing at Globe Life Field this year at 19. The surfer from Florida rented a place from Jackie Crawford and moved to Stephenville, Texas so she could learn from and compete against the best. She completed her senior year of high school online and was either studying or roping. Her 10-year-old mare, Chica, was originally bought for her father as a head horse. They paid $800 for her as a two-year-old and as they were training her found that her gift was in the breakaway arena. She got a big bonus when she won $10,000 and the title at the Bob Feist Invitational Breakaway roping in Guthrie, Oklahoma in June.
