Fun Facts about Erin: She is one of the elite breakaway ropers that have qualified for all four of the National Finals Breakaway Roping. She qualified for the first one in 15th place and never wanted to be there again. Then a slow summer saw her in the same exact position. She won $336 on her last run in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and that was enough. She finished $73 ahead of Samantha Fulton. She and her husband, Darnell have a son Denton and daughters Evin and Annie. Darnell is a tie-down roper and they also farm and ranch. She grew up in Burlington, Colorado, and primarily showed animals until she got to college. Her father raised horses there and she is continuing his small breeding program. Her family is everything to her and being successful in and out of the arena is paving the way for their future.
