Now she is sharing those skills with the rodeo athletes at the Canyon, Texas university where she serves as assistant coach. She made history in 2019 at Wyoming’s Cheyenne Frontier Days when she won the invitational breakaway roping. While it didn’t count for the WPRA standings – she finished the year 6th – that win will always hold a special place in her heart.
