Fun Facts about Kirby: She was the National High School Rodeo Association goat tying champion in 2003 and 2005. She then moved to Stephenville, Texas, to further her education at Tarleton State University. As a freshman, she qualified for the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) where she was crowned the women’s all-around champion. In 2007 she set an arena record goat tying at the CNFR that still stands today. While her competitive goat tying career is done, she still hosts clinics to get kids started and saves her arena energy for roping.
