Fun Facts about Sarah: She will always call Merritt, British Columbia Canada home. She competed in rodeos through high school in Canada, then came to the U.S. and competed in college rodeos in the Rocky Mountain and Central Rocky Mountain Regions. She got her bachelor’s degree in human biology and chemistry, then went to the University of Wyoming and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy. That led to a job in Washington State where she did all the adult things – bought a house, worked for a corporation, and put her roping on the back burner. After seven years of that, she sold the house, quit the job, and focused on roping. She has a Washington address but really goes wherever the rodeo trail leads her. This year it led her to 72 rodeos and her first NFBR qualification.
