I’ve truly believe that much of what happens in our lives depends how we react and the path we choose in adversity and trials, the rest we have lil or no control over. Bill Tutor is one that we have watched take the time from the end of the 2016 regular season til now to give life and all opportunities every ounce of his being. You see, Bill finished 16 th and just a few dollars from achieving one of his career goals of making the WNFR in December. Watch this ride from Jackson, MS that quickly helped him jump to #1 in the WEATHER GUARD PRCA World Standings and to be our focus this week. Bill is 86.5 on Korkow Rodeos’ Onion Ring to split the title at the Dixie National in Jackson, MS.
Bill is also one of the many contestants that have pushed the limits with their circuit finals money and used the new rule allowing that money to count to propel them into the top of the standings. His most recent win in Kissimmee of $5,478 was the bump he needed to move him into the lead. Keep in mind the reining world champion Tim O’Connell has been almost flawless and spent his Sunday in Arlington winning The American is still #2 and has great positioning in San Antonio. Bill has just missed the semi finals, but I’m sure won’t let that slow him down. So, here’s the final thought on the 25 year old Texas cowboy: He’s qualified for the High School Finals, College Finals, Ram National Circuit Finals and barely missed the Wrangler National Finals in 2016 and will not be denied this year. Bill Tutor is having a remarkable year and travelling with Jake Brown helping to feed off each other. We will again see him in Kissimmee at the RNCFR where a lot of money is on the line! Keep a good “watch” on Bill Tutor this year as well as all the Bareback Riders with this top 20 it’s going to be a battle.
