Ellensburg, Wash. (February 25, 2016) — The Ellensburg Rodeo Board recently elected Andy Andrews as the new board member to replace retired board member Myron Linder.

Andy initially became involved with the Ellensburg Rodeo by volunteering with the Top Hands and served as President of the rodeo’s lead volunteer group from 2013 through 2015. “I enjoy the rodeo for what it does for the community and I get a chance to work with some of the best volunteers in rodeo, people that are passionate about rodeo and its history in Ellensburg,” stated Andy when asked why chose to serve on the rodeo board.

Born and raised in Hawaii, Andy moved to the Kittitas Valley in 2001. He has worked with Federal Express for twenty five years and enjoys his many customers. Andy’s wife (Stacy) works as a veterinary technician at Mt. Stuart Animal Hospital, and they have three daughters (Alexis, Tatum, and Liana) all attending Ellensburg High School.

Next year’s rodeo runs from Sept. 2-5, 2016. More information about its many competitions and events can be found online at www.ellensburgrodeo.com.
