Fun Facts about Shelley: Shelley’s husband, Rex often travels with her and her final win of the season came aboard his horse Radar. She qualified for the finals in the tournament-style rodeo at the Washington State Fair aboard HR Fameskissandtell “Kiss.” Wanting to give Kiss a rest, Rex’s horse “Radar” got the call and they finished in second place. She has also been riding two other mares, Phoebe and Tres Leches. Rex and Shelley have two sons Zach and Tanner that help take care of things at home. Prior to pursuing barrel racing and rodeo full-time, Shelley taught school and coached basketball. Her love of sports and coaching has inspired her own physical fitness pursuits and she has recently taken up painting as a new hobby.
