The announcement that the Wrangler NFR will call Las Vegas home for another 10 years was made official yesterday through a unanimous vote by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. Here’s what Phil McAdams, Wrangler Specialty Apparel president, had to say about the news:

“As a longtime supporter of the sport of professional rodeo, we are pleased with the news that the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo will remain in Las Vegas for another 10 years. The city of Las Vegas has provided tremendous hospitality and a great atmosphere for the sport’s marquee event, allowing the competitors and fans an exciting and welcoming home for 10 days each year for the past 29 years. There’s no doubt this is an exciting time for the sport. Whether fans are watching the Wrangler NFR in Las Vegas in December, or tuning in to the Wrangler Network for access to live rodeo event coverage, scores and stats throughout the year for the first time ever, they are in for a great ride.”
