Fun Facts about Jess: After winning the WNFR championship twice and finishing the season as the reserve champion (2022) and in third place (2020), Jess has his sights set on gold this year. He held onto the first-place position for most of the year and then a month out with injury and Cole Reiner’s success saw the number one going back and forth. Cole has a $1,712 lead starting the WNFR, chump change in Las Vegas. Jess made a quick trip to Casper, Wyoming last June to surprise his younger brother Ty at the College National Finals Rodeo before the final round. Ty was crowned the champion for Missouri Valley College (MVC) that Jess also attended. He loves everything to do with cowboying and spent the last weekend of the PRCA regular season serving as a pick-up man at the MVC rodeo. Last May, Jess got down on one knee and asked his girlfriend to marry him. She said yes and they immediately made plans to get married one year from the day that they got engaged. Jess lives by the words “Dream it. Do it. Own it.”
