Fun Facts about Jess: He more than doubled his regular season career earnings this year. Last year he entered the WNFR in 11th with less than $50,000. Then he earned $170,410 and the overall championship and moved up to third in the world standings. He competed in all three rough stock events in high school and was the national champion in bareback riding in 2016. He then went to Missouri (Marshall) Valley College which has produced bareback riding greats Tim O’Connell and Tanner Aus. His rodeo idols are Jeff Collins and Will Lowe who are both world champions and Kansas natives. He lives by the words “Dream it. Do it. Own it.”
