Fun Facts about Kassie: It’s hard to say what Kassie would be doing if she didn’t have horses in her life. The self-proclaimed “water baby” loves boating and watching scary movies. Luckily she loves horses the most and has made a huge impact in the lives of those four-legged creatures and the people that own them. She loves working with young horses, developing their minds and athletic skills. That has served her well as a top trainer of barrel horses that has had a lot of success at futurities over the last 20 years. Some of those futurity horses were getting experience in the rodeo arena and were so successful that they took Kassie on to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. She picks rodeos very thoughtfully and only went to 28 this year to earn her fourth NFR qualification. Much of that success has come aboard He Will be Epic, “Will,” a horse that she owns and has known since he was a baby.
