Fun Facts about Jacobs: 2011 was a pivotal year for Jacobs. He won the College National Finals Rodeo representing Texas A&M University in June, qualified for his first WNFR in December, then graduated from college with an engineering degree. Jacobs and his wife Lauren moved from Boerne, Texas to Stephenville and he has been busy fixing up their place when he hasn’t been competing. After rodeos canceled this year, he knocked the dust off his saddle and got on some practice horses getting ready for competition to start again. He also kept busy with phone calls and virtual meetings as chairman of the board of directors for the PRCA. He and his wife, Lauren, have a son, Corley who will be a busy three-year-old at this year’s WNFR.
