Fun Facts about Rhen: It took Rhen over 10 years to qualify for his first Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. He came close through those and actually started competing while he was a senior in high school. His goal of competing in Las Vegas came in 2018 where he qualified in the tie-down roping and team roping. He already had $1 million in career earnings. He qualified in 2019 in tie-down roping. In 2021, he was back in the team roping heading for good friend Jeremy Buhler. The duo hasn’t missed an NFR since. They got a big boost this year winning Rodeo Houston. They never backed off. Rhen’s passion for roping and horses sees him highly involved in the family’s ranch and horse business. Because of that, he has had a lot of success on horses that they have raised and trained. Watching their favorite cowboy in the Thomas and Mack Arena will be his wife, Chalis, and their daughters, Ruby and Lyla.
