Desiree Bridges, Miss Rodeo Wyoming

DESIREE BRIDGES
MISS RODEO WYOMING
EQUALITY STATE

Desiree Bridges (Wyoming)

Desiree Bridges is from Jackson, Wyoming and a graduate from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Agricultural Business Management. She plans on going to Law School at the University of Wyoming to study the field of water rights and fight for this precious resource.

Since Desiree was young she has always been an avid skier which turned into an All-State downhill skiing championship and utilized it to teach children how to ski. For the past few years, she has volunteered her time for Horse Warriors where children are paired with a horse for the summer and she helps with horsemanship and equitation skills in the arena.

“I believe my highest calling is to represent the ideals of the great American West. Rodeo, known for its adherence to the Code of the West, which is rooted in character and integrity, is not only the greatest American sport, but our way of life. America has always been magnificent because she has held herself to a higher standard and still exemplifies its Western heritage. This is what I aspire to promote and will do that with heart and perseverance. My mission is to be an accessible role model, especially for children. I want to reach out to those who may never own a horse or ranch, but instinctively crave the values of the West, an image and lifestyle badly needed in today’s society. This is my dream for Miss Rodeo America.”
