Miss Rodeo South Dakota 2019: Kay Marrs

Known to her family as the bow-shooting, ballet-dancing, and cow-whispering queen, 23-year-old Kay Marrs proudly calls Whitewood, SD home. She is putting her Animal Science degree from South Dakota State University to work at the Farm Service Agency and on the family ranch. Her enthusiasm for riding, rodeo, and ranching are only matched by her faith and devotion to family. Coming from the state of “great faces, great places,” Kay hopes to add her face to the list of South Dakota greats by bringing the Landstrom’s crown home to the Black Hills.
