15 of Today’s Hottest Artists Highlight 2016 Coca-Cola Stage

Calgary – The lineup for the Calgary Stampede’s largest music venue is set. From Classified to Gord Bamford, the 2016 Coca-Cola Stage lineup has something for everyone and is ready to rock in just over a month’s time.

The official lineup announcement came at the Coca-Cola Covert Concert at Flames Central on Thursday night where hundreds of lucky guests won their way in and were treated to surprise performances by Coleman Hell and X Ambassadors. Both bands will later return to Calgary to perform on the Coca-Cola Stage during the 2016 Stampede.

“The Coca-Cola Stage will host an exciting performer lineup featuring chart topping artists across a variety of genres hailing from all over North America,” said Samara Lastiwka, programming production manager for the Calgary Stampede.

The Coca-Cola Stage celebrates the the Year of Music in Calgary by featuring four local artists. Christian Hudson, JJ Shiplett and The Dudes are performing on Sneak-a-Peek, followed by Jocelyn Alice on July 13.

The 2016 lineup includes this years’ JUNO Winner for Group of the Year, Walk Off The Earth; 15-time Canadian Country Music Award Winner, Gord Bamford; and American alternative rock sensations X Ambassadors, known for their smash hit single Renegades.

Thursday, July 14 – Mother Mother – 9 p.m.
Friday, July 15 – Dear Rouge (8 p.m.) The Glorious Sons (9:30 p.m.)
Saturday, July 16 – Gord Bamford – 9 p.m.
Sunday, July 17 – Simple Plan – 9 p.m.

Concerts are free with admission to Stampede Park and the Coca-Cola Stage is found just inside the Victoria Park entry at the west side of the park.
