2017 Calgary Stampede Celebrates Canada 150

Calgary – The Calgary Stampede is gearing up for the ultimate Canada 150 Day celebration to be held July 11, 2017, at Stampede Park. We are excited to announce the details of the festivities as well as a special offer for our community, on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. Please join us along Stephen Avenue where Calgary Stampede president and chairman of the board, David Sibbald will be available for interviews. In true Stampede style we will be having some fun, so come take a selfie with some of our animal friends and enjoy the toe-tapping music of an 8-piece band.

WHAT: 2017 Calgary Stampede and Canada 150 media opportunity.

Horses, Mounties and an 8-piece band will be on hand as we introduce the Calgary Stampede’s plan for a massive Canada 150 celebration, as well as a special offer for our community.

WHO: Calgary Stampede president and chairman of the board, David Sibbald, will be available for interviews.

WHERE: 8th Avenue and 2nd Street SW (200 block) during the Market event
