CHICAGO – The WCRA revealed the bull riding draw for Friday night’s WCRA Windy City Roundup – a $1 million rodeo – taking place on Friday night at Allstate Arena.

The winner of the bull riding event takes home a minimum of $50,000 and 170 points toward the PBR world standings.

WCRA Windy City Roundup Matchups

Wyatt Rogers vs. Big Black (21-3, all levels)
Brennon Eldred vs. The Hard Stuff (20-2, all levels)
Silvano Alves vs. Old Fort Days (20-0, all levels)
Claudio Montanha Jr. vs. Talking Smack (22-3, all levels)
Derek Kolbaba vs. Soup in a Group (16-4, all levels)
Chance Schott vs. Acting Crazy (41-8, all levels)
Joao Ricardo Vieira vs. South Texas Gangster (17-6, all levels)
Chandler Bownds vs. Biker Bob (20-3, all levels)
J.B. Mauney vs. Speed Demon (43-2, all levels)

Eldred is a replacement for Fabiano Vieira, who is out because of a right shoulder injury.

Vieira was hopeful he could compete in Chicago this weekend, but a follow-up appointment and MRI with Dr. Tandy Freeman showed serious damage to his right shoulder.

The 36-year-old said he was advised to not compete and risk further injury to his shoulder.

“If my shoulder comes out one more time it could do more damage to my nerve,” Vieira said. “It is not a good idea at all to try and ride. Out of the three major tendons in my shoulder, three of them are tore up completely.”

Vieira is going to meet with a shoulder specialist on Monday in Texas.

The eight-time PBR World Finals qualifier dislocated his shoulder last week in New York when Losing My Religion bucked him off in 7.19 seconds in the 15/15 Bucking Battle.

Vieira has been plagued by shoulder injuries since 2014.

The Top 2 finishers in the long round Friday night will advance to the championship round. The Top 3 finishers in the long round will also earn PBR world points (50-25-10).

The bull rider with the highest-score in the championship round will be the event winner.
