Freestyle motocross to entertain Red Bluff Round-Up fans

Red Bluff Dirt Bikes

Luke Dolin FMX will entertain during each performance of the Red Bluff Round-Up. The Round-Up, which takes place at the Tehama District Fairgrounds, is April 17-19.

Red Bluff, Calif. – A different kind of horsepower will roar into the Red Bluff Round-Up April 17-19!

It’s not only the four-legged equine kind of power that will be at the Tehama District Fairgrounds in Red Bluff, but the engine-type of horsepower!

Luke Dolin FMX will bring his dirt bikes to Red Bluff for the delight and entertainment of Round-Up fans! He and his fellow rider will flip tricks in the air, ranging from the can-can to the kiss of death to the cliff hanger and the heart attack!

Dolin, who lives in Valley Springs, Calif., began his dirt bike career when he was five years old. His freestyle riding got more serious after he attended the X Games at the age of thirteen. “I thought, I can do that,” he said. He built a ramp, “and it went from there.”

He has entertained fans at rodeos in California, Nevada and Utah for the past five years, and he loves rodeos. “The fans really go wild over the dirt bikes,” he said. “Because they’re at a rodeo, they’re not really expecting to watch freestyle motocross. The fan base at a rodeo is a lot different than you’d get at a motocross event. They’re a lot more thankful. I really, really enjoy doing shows at rodeos.”

FMX is a great fit for rodeos, the 21-year-old Dolin says. “A lot of people haven’t seen it before, and it’s a great way to wrap up a show.”
