Dirteater Wins Round 1 in St. Louis

On what will be a long weekend in St. Louis, Ryan Dirteater got off to a good start, earning 87 points on Little Joe to win Round 1 of the Bass Pro Chute Out and claim 100 world standings points.

Dirteater came into the event ranked No. 14 in the event and the round win boosted him to No. 11 in the world standings with the round win.

World No. 1 Matt Triplett continued his hot start to the season, fighting the flu and readjusting early in the ride to earn 86.25 points aboard Easy Money to earn 60 world standings points.

Triplett was followed up by three-time World Champion Silvano Alves, who covered XD Sports Double Agent for 86 points to earn 50 world standings points.

In fourth place, J.W. Harris scored 85.75 points aboard Slick Rick to finish fourth in Round 1 to earn 40 world standings points.

Valdiron de Oliveira finished in fifth place with 85.5 points aboard Cowtown Rock to earn 30 world standings points.

Round 2 action gets underway at the Bass Pro Chute Outs at 7 p.m. CT.
