BISMARCK, N.D. – Brennon Eldred (Sulphur, Oklahoma) was victorious in night two of the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour (RVT) Dakota Community Bank PBR Bull Riding Challenge Saturday night at the Bismarck Civic Center.

The 22-year-old shot up six spots from No. 33 to No. 27 in the world standings with the win.

Eldred had a rough start to the evening after bucking off Mental Revenge (Dakota Rodeo / Chad Berger / Clay Struve / H&C Bucking Bulls) in Round 1, but got a chance to redeem himself in the championship round. The Oklahoma native put up an impressive 91-point ride on the back of Cooper Tires Brown Sugar (Dakota Rodeo/Julie Rosen/Clay Struve/Chad Berger) in the championship round, on his way to the victory.

“I didn’t win it how I wanted to, but I’ll take it,” Eldred said. “It’s not every day we get to ride with a crowd like this and get the support we do like the fans here in Bismarck. It’s just something else. This is a great event Chad Berger put on with the best bulls in the world and the best riders in the world.”

Derek Kolbaba (Walla Walla, Washington) finished in second place on Saturday night after winning on Friday night. The No. 3 rider in the world also went 1-for-2, winning Round 1 with an 89.5-point ride on Beast of Burden (Dakota Rodeo / Chad Berger / Clay Struve / H&C Bucking Bulls). Kolbaba was later bucked off by Modified Clyde (Dakota Rodeo – Chad Berger / Clay Struve / Ken Barnhard) in the championship round.

Fabiano Vieira (Perola, Brazil) took third on night two in Bismarck after covering Siouxper Stinger (Berger Bucking Bulls) for 89 points in Round 1 before eventually falling against Fire & Smoke (Dakota Rodeo/Julie Rosen/Clay Struve/Chad Berger) in the championship round.

Brady Oleson (Blackfoot, Idaho) took fourth place. The 21-year-old started the night strong with an 88-point ride on back of Springer Mountain (Dakota Rodeo / Chad Berger / Clay Struve) before bucking off Catfish John (Dakota Rodeo – Chad Berger / Clay Struve / Miller) in the championship round.

Jesse Tillman rounded out the Top 5 on Saturday night. Tillamn earned 83.5 points after covering Disco Ball (Dakota Rodeo / Chad Berger / J.R. Scott) in Round 1 before being tossed by Deep Water (Dakota Rodeo/Chad Berger/Clay Struve/Heald Pro Bulls) in the championship round.

Smooth Operator (Dakota Rodeo/Julie Rosen/Clay Struve/Chad Berger) was the high-marked bull for the second night in a row after putting up a bull score of 46.5-point.

The next stop on the Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour will be in Salinas, California, on July 19 at the Salinas Sports Complex.

The 2017 Velocity Tour will culminate with the Velocity Tour Finals at South Point Arena in Las Vegas on Oct. 28-30, leading into the PBR’s Built Ford Tough World Finals, Nov. 1-5 at T-Mobile Arena.
