Harris Wins in Kansas City

J.W. Harris picked up his first event win of the 2015 Built Ford Tough Series season, going 3-for-3 to win the Caterpillar Classic in Kansas City, Missouri.

Harris capped his weekend with an 88.5-point ride aboard Crystal Can Do in the Built Ford Tough Championship Round. The ride was good enough for second place in the round, and gave him the aggregate win. All totaled, Harris took home 525 total event points to climb to No. 6 in the PBR world standings.

Harris was followed in the event by Nathan Schaper, who won the championship round with 89 points on Long John. Schaper took home 100 points for the championship round win, and added 240 points for finishing second in the aggregate for a total of 340 event points. Schaper finished the weekend No. 7 in the world standings.

Third place in the event went to Eduardo Aparecido, who earned 182.5 event points in Kansas City. Reese Cates finished the event with 167.5 event points to take fourth place and Renato Nunes finished fifth with 130 world standings points.

Stone Sober was the high-marked bull of the weekend, bucking off L.J. Jenkins to earn a 46.25 bull score.
