Miller Earns the Victory in Wheeling

WHEELING, W.Va.. – Eli Miller (Statesville, North Carolina) won the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour (RVT) event at the Neighborhood Ford Store Challenge Saturday night at Wesbanco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia.

Miller went 2-for-3 in the event. He rode Zacchaeus (Davis Rodeo Ranch/Fogle) for 88 points in Round 1 before covering Order To Go (Jim Bollinger Bucking Bulls) in the championship round for 84.5 points. With the win, he earned $6,100 and 120 points toward the world standings.

Winners of each RVT event in 2018 will be guaranteed at least one opportunity to compete at a regular-season 25th PBR: Unleash The Beast event. Thanks to his victory in Wheeling, Miller earned an invitation to the Stanley Performance in Action Invitational, presented by Cooper Tires, in Billings, Montana, on April 20-22.

Luke Bradley (Seligman, Missouri) finished in second place despite no score in the first round atop Freak-N-Crazy (Davis Rodeo Ranch/Barton). He recovered for 83.5 points aboard Arm & Hammer (Jim Bollinger Bucking Bulls) before riding Fox Hole (Cornwell Bucking Bulls) in the championship round for 88.5 points. Bradley will be walking away from the weekend with 70 world points and a check for $5,500.

Cristiano Figueredo (Brazil) and Jesse Tilman (Olathe, Kansas) tied for third place after each scored 169.5 points over the two-day event. Figueredo rode to 85 points on Domestic Disturbance (Cornwell Bucking Bulls) in Round 1 before covering Don’t Sweat It (Jim Bollinger Bucking Balls) for 84.5 points in the second round.

Tillman rode Bachelor Party (Rickey West Bucking Bulls) for 85 points in Round 1 before covering Freakin Wicked (Davis Rodeo Ranch/Fogle) for 84.5 points in the second round. Neither covered their bull in the championship round. The two riders each earned $2,216 and 30 points toward the world standings.

Sean Willingham (Summerville, Georgia) rounded out the Top 5 after his 87.5-point ride in Round 1 on Freakin Wicked (Davis Rodeo Ranch/Fogle). The 36-year old will be going home with 15 points toward the world standings along with a pay check for $1,440.

The next stop on the Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour will be in Bangor, Maine, at the Cross Insurance Center, March 24-25.
