Pacheco and Livingston Split Velocity Tour Event Win in Hidalgo

HIDALGO, Tx. – The 2015 PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Rookie of the Year, Kaique Pacheco (Itatiba, Brazil) and 18-year old Texas native, Koal Livingston (Burleson, Texas) split the victory at the Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour (RTV) event at State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas, Sunday afternoon.

There were five riders on the weekend that went 3-for-3 with Pacheco and Livingston earning the victory with a total score of 258.50 points each. Pacheco had ride scores of 87, 85.5 and 86 points while Livingston racked up ride scores of 83, 87.5 and 88 points. The pair each earned 65 points towards the PBR World Standings along with payouts of $5,600 for Livingston and $4,900 for Pacheco.

Brazilians Fabiano Vieira (Perola, Brazil) and Luciano De Castro (Guzolandia, Brazil) finished in a tie for 3rd place. Vieira had scores of 84 and 86.5 points Sunday on Hard Times (Martinez Bucking Bulls) and New Life (Martinez Bucking Bulls) while De Castro used scores of 82.5 and 88.5 points aboard Knock Em Out Juan (Rocking I Rodeo Co.) and Lost Soul(Martinez Bucking Bulls) as each earned 25 points towards the PBR World Standings along with paychecks of $2,150 and $2,550, respectively.

Countrymen Marco Eguchi (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and Lindomar Lino (Anapolis, Brazil) rounded out the Top 6 in the event. Eguchi went 3-for-3 with and turned in scores of 82.5 points on Vortex (Covenant Livestock) and 82 points on Slingshot (Covenant Livestock) Sunday to finish in fifth place while Lino rode Pistols & Roses (Covenant Livestock) four 86.5 points in Round 2 to finish in sixth place. Lino, the Round 1 winner, was bucked off hard in Round 2, suffering a shoulder injury that made it hard to stay on his championship round bull.

Eguchi earned 15 points towards the PBR World Standings along with $840. Lino earned 10 points towards the PBR World Standings along with $1,460.

The Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour will next be in action on Dec. 10 in Biloxi, Mississippi, at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. The event will be at 7:00 p.m. CT. The RVT event from Hidalgo will air in an hour-long highlight show on PBR.com on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. MT.
