Pacheco Wins, Finishes Second in Two Separate TPD Events

PUEBLO, Colo. – Kaique Pacheco (Itatiba, Brazil) finds himself sitting atop the Professional Bull Riders Touring Pro Division (TPD) standings after winning one and placing second in another TPD event on April 3-4.

Pacheco picked up a combined total of 90 points towards the PBR world standings with a first place finish at the 6th Annual Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Spring Fling in DeKalb, Texas, and then a second place finish at the Mike White Invitational in Stephenville, Texas.

In DeKalb, Pacheco was first in the aggregate with a total ride score of 137.5 points, earning $4,890.56 and 60 world points. Lane Lasley (North Little Rock, Arkansas) took second place, just a half a point behind Pacheco at 137 points. He earned $3,133.02 and 30 world points.

Dalton Rudman (Price, Utah) notched a third place finish in DeKalb with an 88-point ride; he earned 20 world points. Taylor Toves (Stephenville, Texas), Derek Kolbaba (Walla Walla, Washington) and Jordan Hupp (Stephenville, Texas) finished in fourth, fifth and sixth place, respectively.

Meanwhile, in Stephenville, Texas, Zane Cook (Fort Gibson, Oklahoma) secured the win with a total ride score of 176.5 points for $4,043.45 in prize money and a total of 60 world points. He had the highest score in Round 1 with an 89-point ride and followed it up with an 87.5-point ride in the championship round.

Pacheco was second with 175 points along with a career-first 90-point ride in the championship round. He secured a payday of $2,836.45 and 30 world points.

In third place was Robson Palermo (Rio Branco, Brazil) with a total ride score of 174 points to earn 20 world points. Ryan Dirteater (Hulbert, Oklahoma) and Cody Rodeo Tyler (Perry, Oklahoma) tied for fourth place while Cody Tyler White (Talala, Oklahoma) finished in sixth place.

This weekend the TPD will make stops in Utah, Arkansas and Texas. On April 10-11 the PBR will be in Ivins, Utah, at the Tuacahn Ampitheater.Marco Eguchi (Sao Paolo, Brazil), Scottie Knapp (Albuquerque, N.M.) and Ian Molan (Cork, Ireland) are some of the riders who will be competing.

On April 11 will be the Ft. Smith Invitational in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, held at Kay Rodgers Park. Brant Atwood (Pampa, Texas), Tyler Harr (Hazen, Arkansas) and Lasley highlight some of the riders in the lineup.

Also on Saturday, in San Antonio, Texas, the TPD will make a stop at Cowboys Dancehall with riders, including Ralph Benson Jr. (Adkins, Texas), Sterling Furr (Boerne, Texas) and Derek Powell (Kerrville, Texas) making appearances.
