PBR LIVE to Exclusively Broadcast PBR Summer Series

The PBR Summer Series gets underway on May 31 in Decatur, Texas.
PUEBLO, Colo. – The Professional Bull Riders Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) has taken a summer break until Aug. 15, but its PBR Touring Pro Division and BlueDEF Velocity Tour are in full swing including select marquee events scheduled to be streamed live via PBR LIVE on PBR.com.
Starting with the J.W. Hart PBR Challenge at the Wise County Sheriffs Posse Arena on Saturday, May 31, in Decatur, Texas, PBR LIVE will digitally broadcast approximately 10 events this summer over the internet. For the first time ever, PBR World Champion J.B. Mauney will go head-to-head against PRCA Champion J.W. Harris for $25,000 while in Decatur. They’ll have to get through Asteroid and Shepherd Hills Tested, respectively, in order to win. The only place to see all the action is on PBR LIVE.
Next up will be two-time World Champion bucking bull Bushwacker taking on PRCA Champion J.W. Harris at the DCB PBR Bull Riding Challenge on Friday, June 13 from Bismarck, ND. These are matchups never before seen on the BFTS and only available on PBR LIVE.
PBR LIVE’s Summer Series includes the following stops:
May 31: J.W. Hart PBR Challenge in Decatur, Texas (9 p.m. ET)
June 13-14: DCB PBR Bull Riding Challenge in Bismarck, N.D. (8:30 p.m. ET)
June 28: Newark, NJ, BlueDEF Velocity Tour in Newark, N.J. (7 p.m. ET)
July 5-6: Carson, CA BlueDEF Velocity Tour in Carson, Calif. (10 p.m. / 5 p.m. ET)
July 12: Orlando, FL BlueDEF Velocity Tour in Orlando, Fla., (7 p.m. ET)
July 31: Fiesta Stock Horse Show & Rodeo in Santa Barbara, Calif. (10:30 p.m. ET)
Up-and-coming riders as well as current BFTS riders will be featured as they ride to earn valuable points needed to qualify for and stay atop the BFTS en route to the 2014 PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas. It’s the only place to see any PBR action this summer.
