PBR’s Iron Cowboy Event Time Changes to 5:50 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28

ARLINGTON, Texas – With a new format being given to the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Tyson Fan Zone this year, the Choctaw Casino Resort Iron Cowboy powered by Kawasaki Strong will now start at 5:50 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28 at AT&T Stadium. Doors will open to the general public at 4:20 p.m.

Bringing fans Western lifestyle entertainment and fun, the PBR’s Tyson Fan Zone will open at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28 and at 8 a.m. on Sunday, March 1. It will be located in the AT&T Stadium Silver Lot No. 4, on the corner of Randol Mill Road and Legends Way. It will be free of charge to the public.

This year’s fan zone includes an autograph signing with all Top 40 riders competing in the Iron Cowboy on Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m., at several different PBR sponsor booths; Chris Shivers’ Mini Bull Riding Tour, and Flint Rasmussen’s Outside the Barrel show, as well as live music by Cody Johnson, bringing a unique blend of country and rock to the Cooper Tire Stage and the hard-swingin’ honky-tonk group Cowboy Dave Band.

The will be the sixth consecutive year that the PBR has visited AT&T Stadium with the Iron Cowboy. It is also the only Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) event in Texas this season.

As the first event of the PBR Majors, the Iron Cowboy includes a new format, awarding increased points and prize money to its winners. It will feature 40 of the Top bull riders from the BFTS and the PBR’s BlueDEF Velocity Tour competing to determine who can ride the most consecutive bulls in one evening. The total prize purse has increased to $250,000 this year with the winner receiving a guaranteed $180,000, which includes the $100,000 Bad Boy Mowers Bonus.

CBS will broadcast the Choctaw Casino Resort Iron Cowboy powered by Kawasaki Strong at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 1.

This event kicks off the richest weekend in Western sports history, taking place one day before THE AMERICAN rodeo. Tickets, ranging in price from $20 to $150, and can be purchased at the AT&T Stadium Box Office, all Ticketmaster locations, ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.
