The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and Wrangler have signed a five-year contract that will extend the Wrangler brand’s status as the premier sponsor of professional rodeo through 2021. The agreement includes the continuance of Wrangler being the title sponsor of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo and the Wrangler Champions Challenge tour.

“The PRCA and Wrangler go all the way back, and it is with great pride that we extend and strengthen a relationship that supports the entire sport of professional rodeo,” said PRCA Commissioner Karl Stressman. “Wrangler has stood strong behind the PRCA, its members and fans since the start, and that commitment has never wavered.”

As the Official Jeans & Shirts of the PRCA, Kontoor US, LLC’s Wrangler brand will continue to exclusively license and market the PRCA logo. Wrangler’s support of every aspect of the sport and PRCA membership ranges from paid advertising of PRCA television programming, direct endorsement of contestant members and support of PRCA rodeo committees through their PRCA Rodeo Assistance Program, the PRCA Rodeo Committee Shirt Program, the PRCA Retail Ticket Promotion, as well as Wrangler’s continued support of numerous other PRCA initiatives.

The extension also provides for the Wrangler Network to livestream 30 premier PRCA events annually, free of charge, to ProRodeo fans, along with archived content on WranglerNetwork.com, which in addition to livestreaming includes year-round highlights, upcoming rodeo listings and other Western lifestyle content.
