PRCA Xtreme Bulls Tour Ready to “Rock on the River” at Fort Mojave Classic
FORT MOHAVE, Ariz. – The national PRCA Xtreme Bulls Tour is ready to “rock on the river” at the 3rd Annual Fort Mojave Classic, March 21-22, on the banks of the Colorado River. In a unique partnership with the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe, the world’s top bull riders will converge on the Mojave Crossing Event Center in Arizona, just across the river from the AVI Resort and Casino in Laughlin, Nev., to compete for more than $50,000 in prize money.
Leading the PRCA bull riding field is 2012 World Champion Cody Teel of Kountze, Texas, and 2013 Xtreme Bulls Champion Tyler Smith of Fruita, Colo. In addition to Teel and Smith, the field will have nine other bull riding qualifiers from the 2013 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas – Trey Benton III, Rock Island, Texas; Chandler Bownds, Lubbock, Texas; Parker Breeding, Edgar, Mont.; Cody Campbell, Summerville, Ore.; Cooper Davis, Jasper, Texas; Elliot Jacoby, Fredericksburg, Texas; Trevor Kastner, Ardmore, Okla.; Josh Koschel, Nunn, Colo., and Steve Woolsey, Payson, Utah. Area bull riding fans will also get their first look at PRCA bull riding rookie sensation, Sage Kimzey of Strong City, Okla.
Mojave Crossing will also welcome the baddest, meanest, rankest one-ton athletes in the world. These bulls have bucked off cowboys at the largest rodeo venues in the world, including the Wrangler NFR in Las Vegas, the San Antonio (Texas) Stock Show & Rodeo and the Xtreme Bulls Tour Finale in Ellensburg (Wash.). The performances on Friday, March 21 and Saturday, March 22 both begin at 7:30 p.m. (PT).
