SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – In response to unprecedented demand for tickets for its April 2-3 stop at Sioux Falls, South Dakota’s Denny Sanford PREMIER Center, the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) has added a third day to its First PREMIER Bank/PREMIER Bankcard Invitational.  Originally scheduled for April 2-3, the PBR is now adding a performance on Friday, April 1. This is the first time the world’s premier bull riding league has added a day to a stop on the circuit after ticket sales have begun due to extraordinary demand.

“Sioux Falls has quickly become one of the most popular and preeminent stops on the Built Ford Tough Series,” said PBR CEO Sean Gleason. “There are only twenty-six cities that we can visit each regular season with the elite, televised tour and only a handful where we feel we have earned the right to offer fans three days of competition.  We thank the community of Sioux Falls for the tremendous support and affording us the opportunity to add a third day of our unique brand of sports and entertainment to our stop there.”

The PBR will now buck into Sioux Falls on Friday, April 1, Saturday, April 2, and Sunday, April 3, with its elite Built Ford Tough Series. The bull riding action will begin at 8 p.m. CT on Friday, 6:50 p.m. CT on Saturday and at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday.

“This partnership between Sioux Falls and the PBR has been an incredible thrill ride. Fans are hooked on the riders, the bulls, and the show as evidenced by the ticket demand, and PBR is obviously hooked on Sioux Falls by providing us another day of memories,” said Sioux Falls Mayor Mike Huether.

Tickets for the three-day event are on sale now and start at $15. Tickets can be purchased at the KELOLAND box office, www.Ticketmaster.com, and at (800) 745-3000. For more information visit www.pbr.com.

For an enhanced PBR experience, fans can purchase the PBR Elite Seats. Located in an exclusive section of the arena near all of the action, the PBR Elite Seats are priced at $350 each and will give fans the VIP experience of a lifetime, including a pre-event catered reception, backstage tours featuring a PBR 101 presentation, meet-and-greets with the PBR’s top stars and dirt access post-event. Contact the PBR Customer Service Department at 800-732-1727 for more information.

Last season, 2004 PBR World Champion Mike Lee captured his first win of the 2015 season in Sioux Falls. Lee will return to the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center to defend his title in 2016, alongside two-time and reigning World Champion, J.B. Mauney (2015, 2013), as well as North Dakota natives Nathan Schaper and Stetson Lawrence.

The First PREMIER Bank PREMIER Bankcard Invitational will be the 12th event on the 2016 PBR Built Ford Tough Series schedule. The season kicked off Jan. 9-10 in Rosemont, Illinois, and will conclude at the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas on Nov. 2-6, taking place at Las Vegas’ new T-Mobile Arena. After five days of competition, the 2016 PBR World Champion, the bull rider who earns the most PBR world standings points during the 2016 season, will be crowned and receive the coveted $10,000 World Championship belt buckle and a $1 million bonus.
