Toast the Tatas Thursday October 13th
Rodeo and SVMS Partner to Raise Funds for Breast Cancer Services
SALINAS, CA, September 26, 2016 – The California Rodeo Salinas and Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System are partnering to host the third annual Toast to the Tatas event which benefits breast cancer services at the Comprehensive Cancer Resource Center in Salinas. The event will be held on Thursday October 13th from 5pm to 7pm at the Salinas Sports Complex at 1034 N. Main Street in the Exhibition Mall; the cost is $10 per person. The evening will include a raffle, no-host bar, brief presentation and complimentary appetizers provided by Hacienda Mexican Grill and Casa Sorrento Pizzeria. Guests are encouraged to wear pink as the California Rodeo started donating money to the hospital due to the Wrangler Tough Enough to Wear Pink (TETWP) campaign which is a national western-industry-wide fundraiser started in 2004 to generate funds and awareness for breast cancer causes in Rodeo committees’ local communities.
Over 200 people attended the Toast to the Tatas event last year. Each attendee will be eligible to win a door prize. Register by calling 831-775-3100 or by visiting http://www.carodeo.com/events/2016/toast-to-the-tatas. No tickets will be mailed; names will be on a list at the door on the night of the event.
