Twelve Finalists to Compete in the 2016 Stampede Talent Search Tonight
Calgary – For the past two nights, 24 of the top performers – selected from 67 Canadian amateur performers at the start of the competition – have been chosen for the final round of the Stampede Talent Search. As scored by a panel of professional judges, the 2016 Stampede Talent Search finalists are:

“The calibre of acts competing on our stage continues to increase each year,” says Andrew Bunka, Chair, Stampede Talent Search committee. “These contestants moving on to the finals represent a some of the most talented young performers we’ve ever had on our stage.”
For the final night of competition, a panel of five judges will be responsible for determining who will become the 2016 Stampede Talent Search Champion. This panel includes:
Tamara Beatty – Voice Coach Consultant from NBCs “The Voice”
Spencer Cheyne – award-wining musician/producer
Jean Grand-Maitre – Choreographer/creative director
W. Brett Wilson – Entertainment/Entrepreneur
The final night of competition is Saturday, July 16. The show takes place at 6:30pm in the Boyce Theatre on Stampede Park and it is free with Park admission. Come early to make sure you get a seat to see who will be crowned champion and receive the $10,000 cash Grand Prize, the President’s Trophy – a custom, one-of-a-kind belt buckle – plus a unique performer development package from the Stampede.
