Tyler Harr Wins PBR BlueDEF Tour Event in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. — On a night dominated by the bulls, Tyler Harr won the Professional Bull Riders BlueDEF Tour (BDT) event in Fresno, California, inside the Save Mart Center, with a total score of 169 points.

Harr went 2-for-2 for on the night, and was the only man to cover his bull in the championship round after riding Big Timer (Julio Moreno Bucking Bulls) for 85.5 points. See his winning ride here:

With the win, Harr earned 80 points toward the PBR world standings and an invitation to compete at the Built Ford Tough Series in his home state of Arkansas at the Bad Boy Mowdown in North Little Rock on April 9-10.

In second place was Kade Alberty with 86.5 points, earning 50 points toward the world standings. Chase Robbins finished third with 86 points and earned 30 points toward the world standings. Nathan Burtenshaw finished in fourth with 84.5 points and earned 20 points toward the world standings. Rounding out the top 5 with 84 points was Josh Faircloth.

Hash Tag (Jerry Brown Bucking Bulls) was the high-marked bull of the night, earning a score of 44.5 points with a 4.34-second buckoff of Ryan McConnel in Round 1.

Fresno was the 16th event of the 2016 BlueDEF Tour. The season will culminate with the 2016 BlueDEF Finals taking place Oct. 29-31 at South Point Arena in Las Vegas. The 2016 BlueDEF Champion will be the rider who earns the most world points throughout the 2016 BDT season, including the BlueDEF Finals. The winner will receive $50,000 and qualify to compete at the $2.3 million PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals.

The BlueDEF Tour presented by Real Time Pain Relief heads to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, next weekend. The action from BMO Harris Bradley Center starts at 7 p.m. CT on Saturday, April 9.
