Not only does TKW Bullys Famous Fox “Foxy” have a long, thick, and gorgeous tail that is sure to be the envy of any horse, but she also gets a daily, full-body massage! Kimmie Wall of Roosevelt, Utah, massages Foxy with essential oils and liniments every morning.

“I know what Foxy likes, and I’ve learned where she gets sore and I just try to work it out,” Wall said about the 8 year old mare. Of course Foxy has earned the special treatment by helping Wall earn two round wins, including Round 6 of the Wrangler NFR.

“I just wanted to get my first barrel down because the last couple of nights I didn’t feel I had done that as well as I should. Tonight we fixed that. The run was smooth and fast,” Wall recalled. The clock stopped at 13.46 seconds – the fastest run of the Wrangler NFR so far. “Actually, it didn’t feel that fast. The second barrel rocked, but as the saying goes, ‘You can rock ‘em but you just can’t knock ‘em.’ I saw it went back up, so I knew I could push her to the third. And, she just flew out of the pen.”

Wall’s family got to experience going on stage at the South Point for the nightly buckle presentation after her Round 2 win, and now they get to do it again. “My son is so excited,” Wall said with a big smile. “He did tell me again tonight that he wanted to go to the South Point, so here we go again!”

Getting to that point requires more than you might think. “It’s kind of crazy for us because we’re staying out of town. So my husband actually brings Foxy, and I try to go get some rest, and then I meet him here,” Wall explained. To help keep Foxy as quiet as possible, she keeps her in the trailer as long as she can. “Everybody who follows me on Snapchat knows what a stinker she is,” Wall said with a laugh. When it’s time to get ready to run, Wall doesn’t do much exercising as her warm up. “It’s really just keep her quite, and do a little massage before I get on and that’s it.”

Wall was wearing lime green pants and a Vegas-themed top with colorful rhinestones. It was one of the 20 outfits she brought to Las Vegas, and it was fitting that it had rhinestone dollar signs on it because that’s what she won – $26,230 dollars to be exact! Wall has now earned $83,192 at the Wrangler NFR. She’s second in the WPRA Barrel Racing World Standings, and third in the average.

Wall and the other 14 Wrangler NFR Barrel Racing qualifiers signed autographs earlier in the day at the Golden Nugget. “What a cool thing that we got to see that many fans, and I just thank them for coming out to the Golden Nugget,” Wall said. It was estimated that it was the largest attendance of fans ever. “It was so much fun to get to see them up close and personal. So It was a great day, and then we get to come here and show them what we’re here to do.”

Also in Round 6, Jana Bean made a horse switch to Dashing Klee “Chick” and placed second with an impressive run of 13.57 seconds. Sherry Cervi and Arson were 13.72 seconds for third place. Amberleigh Moore and Paige along with Mary Burger and Mo split 4th place with times of 13.76. Stevi Hillman and Truck finished in 6th place with their run of 13.85 seconds.
