Lourenco Leads after Night One in Roanoke

Roanoke, Va. – Wesley Lourenco (Santo Antonio da Barra, Brazil) won Round 1 at the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour (RVT) Roanoke Rumble Friday night at the Berglund Center.

Lourenco scored 87.5 points aboard Speckled Chicken (Jared Allen’s Pro Bull Team) in the opening round of the two-day event, earning $800.

Anderson Alencar (Xambre, Brazil) and Sevi Torturo (Oklahoma City, OK) tied for second after each earning 87 points in Round 1. Alencar rode High Voltage (Jared Allen’s Pro Bull Team) and Torturo covered Big Jim (Jared Allen’s Pro Bull Team) each earning $500.

Ezekiel Mitchell (Baytown, Texas) earned $200 and is currently in third place. He rode Arkansas Flash (Barrett Bucking Bulls / Willis) for 86.5 points.

Brenton Chaffin (Riner, VA) will enter Round 2 tomorrow in fifth place after earning 88 points on Kojack (Jared Allen’s Pro Bull Team).

Night two of the Roanoke Rumble will continue tomorrow night, April 14th at 7p.m. ET at the Berlgund Center.

All action from Roanoke will be streaming live on Ridepass.com and the RidePass mobile app. Replays from Round 1 will be available starting at 8 a.m. ET on Saturday, April 14.
