Behind The Chaps: Miss Rodeo Montana

These beautiful chaps were created by Dave and Tina Iverson of Iverson custom saddlery in Ballantine, Montana. “I wanted something that stood out in a crowd and didn’t fit the typical chaps”.

The right leg showcases my love for cattle and my ranching roots with a Hereford/Black Angus cow/calf pair. Barbed wire fencing borders the leather plaque to keep the cattle in. The left leg was a tribute to my first horse, one my family took in as an orphan foal when I was a baby! We grew up together, and he was the horse that got me started on my queening adventures and the path to becoming Miss Rodeo Montana. He lived long enough to see me through to my dreams and passed away the day after I was crowned. The beautiful bitterroot flower is showcased with pink conchos. On the back of the leg pieces there are two brands: one for my family ranch and my own brand. Thank you to Dave and Tina for creating my vision!
