Miss Rodeo America: July Update

A Photo Journey with… Jordan Tierney Miss Rodeo America 2020

  • Thank you to the Wall Celebration PRCA Rodeo in Wall, SD for hosting me! This is the first year it was a PRCA rodeo so it was exciting to be there for that monumental moment! Also finally got to wear my beautiful gold vest made by Bridle to Bridal designs!
  • Miss Cody Stampede 2020 Rylee Ramsey and I got to meet and take a picture with the cutest little dude in all of Cody! Sometimes kids are a little apprehensive of girls in cowboy hats and crowns, but not this little guy. He walked right up and knew how pose!
  • Your chariot awaits! Thank you to the Days of ‘76 Museum in Deadwood, SD for my tour. Back in the day, this Rodeo use to have chariot races during the performances. Pictured here is an old chariot that was used in those races!
  • Enjoyed touring the Buffalo Bill Center of the West Museum in Cody, WY! Fun fact, this museum actually has 5 separate museums. I learned so much in my short time there!
  • ProRodeo Hall of Famer Randy Corley is such a pleasure to work with! I was so happy to reunite with Randy in Deadwood, SD where I first met him in 2018 as Miss Days of ‘76!
  • Catching up with Miss Rodeo South Dakota 2020, Martina Loobey, as she helps me with flags at the Wall Celebration PRCA Rodeo in Wall, SD!
  • Queens, queens and more queens! It is so amazing to have such great representatives for our sport of Rodeo on all levels! These ladies did a superb job all week!
  • Contrary to what one might think, it’s pretty easy to get three pickup men to take a photo! These three men are all South Dakota born and raised and do a fabulous job in and out of the arena! They are the unsung heroes of Rodeo and we couldn’t be more proud!
  • In true Tierney fashion I had the privilege to reunite with my family at the Days of ‘76 steer roping in Deadwood, SD! A day spent with family is never wasted!
  • We got quite the surprise in Deadwood, SD from our Governor! South Dakota Governor, Kristi Noem, presented Old Glory to a packed house. She makes us so proud!
  • MRA Royalty member, Tashina Red Hawk, and I caught up before the parade on Friday! The beading on Tashina’s regalia took three years to complete. She looked stunning as always!
