Behind The Chaps: Miss Rodeo Illinois

This year, I had the privilege of designing my own chaps for my reign of 2022. These chaps were made by Arrowhead Now based out of Oklahoma. For these, I first wanted to have something that represented both the state of Illinois as well as beauty. So, I have added the purple violet, which is the state flower of Illinois. The purple violet can also represent poise and sophistication, which is something I will strive for over my year! I also chose to use the color silver as the base because silver represents success. Finally, I also incorporated the color gold as it is representative of love, compassion, and courage. All of the ideas represented within these chaps I would like to take with me through my 2022 reign.
