Fun Facts about Tristan: He qualified for his first WNFR last year and finished the season in fifth place. Less than 48 hours after running his 10th steer in the Thomas and Mack Center, he was back in Louisiana at the hospital where his wife Josee gave birth to their first child, a boy, Boudreaux. The former high school and college champion is on track for his first gold buckle and has built a big fan club up along the way. Last year, it took two 30-passenger buses to transport those fans to the rodeo arena in Las Vegas. This year, he’ll also have Boudreaux in the stands. Josee grew up in Wyoming and they met at the National High School Finals Rodeo. Josee takes time off from her nursing job in the summer to go to rodeos with Tristan and spend time with her family.
