PBR Announces 2023-2024 Unleash The Beast Broadcast Schedule

Following the thrilling conclusion of the second season of the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Camping World Team Series, which averaged over 1 million viewers on CBS Television Network, eyes turn back to the individual competition, PBR’s elite Unleash The Beast, opening up in Tucson, Arizona, in November.
All 23 regular season UTB events leading into the PBR World Finals in May of 2024 will be carried by the CBS Television Network with streaming on Paramount+, CBS Sports Network, or Pluto TV.

CBS Sports Network will broadcast approximately 70 hours of coverage throughout the season, including more than 20 hours of live coverage, beginning with all the action from Championship Sunday, Dec. 10, in Johnstown, PA, a new city on the PBR premier series schedule for the third event of the season.
The 2024 UTB season also features the return of three Majors – events offering the competing riders increased points and a share of the expanded $250,000 event purse – throughout the season.
The first major is the PBR Monster Energy Buck Off at the Garden, presented by Ariat, which takes place Jan. 5-7 for PBR’s 19th visit to Madison Square Garden. Round 1 on Friday and Round 2 on Saturday will be live on PBR RidePass on Pluto TV, while all the action on Championship Sunday inside the Garden will be carried on CBS Sports Network on Sunday, Jan. 7.
After storming the East Coast, the PBR’s second major of the season takes place almost 3,000 miles west at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California, Feb. 2-4. The first two days of coverage will be split between RidePass on Pluto TV and CBS Television Network and Paramount+, while all the action from Championship Sunday will be telecast on CBS Sports Network.
The final Major of the season takes place in Albuquerque, New Mexico, March 22-24, with PBR RidePass carrying Round 1 and Round 2 live before CBS Sports Network airs Round 3 and the Championship Round on Sunday, March 24.
The 2024 Unleash The Beast season concludes with the PBR World Finals from May 10-19.
CBS Sports Network will carry all the Elimination Rounds live starting at 9 p.m. ET on Friday, May 10, and Saturday, May 11. The telecast moves up to 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 12, before returning to a 9 p.m. ET start on Monday, May 13.
On Sunday, May 19, the CBS Television Network and Paramount+ will air the action starting at noon ET, with CBS Sports Network then providing the action from Championship Sunday live, including the crowning of the PBR’s 2024 Unleash The Beast World Champion, at 3 p.m. ET.
Craig Hummer, the Emmy-nominated play-by-play voice of the PBR, will be returning for his 19th Unleash The Beast season in 2024. Hummer brings more than 20 years of experience, covering more than 50 different sports for network, cable and syndicated shows worldwide.
Hummer is joined in the booth by two-time PBR World Champion Justin McBride, who has worked as a PBR color commentator for the past 15 seasons, and 2016 PBR World Champion Cooper Davis. Davis, who rode for the Carolina Cowboys on PBR Teams last season, finished No. 9 in the Unleash The Beast standings in 2023.
After serving her second season as the play-by-play voice of the PBR Camping World Team Series, Kate Harrison returns chute-side, providing post-ride sideline interviews and covering all the action from the dirt.
