Weekly Recap: Tanner Aus’ 91-Point Ride at RAM NCFR Tops Week

The week that was in the PRCA was full of standout performances, and the best of the best can be traced to two rodeos: the RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo in Kissimmee, Fla., April 8-10, and the San Angelo (Texas) Rodeo, which concludes April 23.

Tanner Aus had the top score of the week in bareback riding with his 91-point ride on Brookman Rodeo’s Famous Dex to win the eight-man semifinals in Kissimmee, April 10.

Steer wrestler Scott Guenthner clocked a 3.6-second run to win the RAM NCFR in Kissimmee, Saturday night.

Team ropers Clay Tryan and Jake Long are second in the second round in San Angelo, thanks to their 3.6-second time Sunday. The duo is leading the average with an 8.4-second time on two head.

Saddle bronc rider Ryder Wright won the first round at the RAM NCFR with an 89.5-point ride on Stace Smith Pro Rodeos’ Resistol’s Top Hat on April 8.

Tie-down ropers Tuf Cooper and Ryan Jarrett shared the top honor for the fastest time of the week at 7.3 seconds. Cooper clocked his time Friday to hold down the top spot in San Angelo’s first round. He also leads the average with a 15.4-second time on two head. Jarrett won the second round of the RAM NCFR, April 10 with his time.

Bull rider Laramie Mosley’s 89-point trip on Lancaster & Jones Pro Rodeo’s Final Rainbow in San Angelo, Friday night took top honors for the week. He’s leading in the first round in San Angelo.
