#InCaseYouMissedIt: Silva Wins in Houston, New Faces Impress and More

The Unleash The Beast returned to Houston for the first time since 2019, and you know bull country doesn’t disappoint! Wingson Henrique da Silva reminded us why he finished No. 4 in the world last year, a home-state boy put on a shot, and more. Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.

On the Unleash The Beast…

 
It was a huge weekend for Wingson Henrique da Silva, as he went 3-for-3 to notch his first event win of 2024 and climb to No. 19 in the Unleash The Beast World Championship standings.

It was also a big one for Boudreaux Campbell. The Crockett, Texas, native wowed the home-state crowd with his best showing so far in 2024.

Some of the biggest movers and shakers in Houston, however, were some of the newest riders on tour, including 18-year-old Clay Guiton.

Round 1 belonged to Cody Jesus and Felipe Furlan, who tied for the round win with matching 88.5-point scores.

There was a whole lot going on in Houston, including some new faces and old matchups.

Meanwhile, on the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour…

Have you missed Ezekiel Mitchell? We have, too. Mitchell has been busy on the Velocity Tour, winning Round 1 in Greenville, South Carolina…

…and going 3-for-3 to win the event as well.

Meanwhile, in Laredo, Texas, Daniel Keeping won Round 1…

…but ultimately finished second to Ederson Santos, who won his first career PBR event.

In the Touring Pro Division…

UTB regular Lucas Divino won the Stockyards Showcase in Fort Worth, Texas, with a flawless 2-for-2 performance.
