102nd Reno Rodeo Officially Underway

PRCA Xtreme Bulls Night Brings Top Riders in the Nation


RENO, Nev. —Xtreme Bulls night at the Reno Rodeo marked the first night of the return of the Reno Rodeo. Champions from across the U.S. traveled to Reno, Nev. to compete in front of a nearly sold-out crowd.

Clayton Sellars of Fruitland Park, Fla. took the win at tonight’s bulls-only event. The 23-year-old had a final score of 179 on two. Sage Steele Kimsey, currently ranked No. 1 in the world, came in second with a total of 172 on two.

1. Clayton Sellars, Fruitland Park, FL
First ride: 88.5 on Western Rodeo’s Gangster
Second ride: 90.5 on Big Stone Rodeo’s Renegade
Two-ride total: 179.0

2. Sage Steele Kimzey, Salado, TX
First ride: 84.5 on Western Rodeo’s Smooth Sailing
Second ride: 87.5 on Diamond G Rodeo’s Kung Fu Magic
Two-ride total: 172.0d
