Reno Rodeo Day Six Results
RENO, Nev. – The sixth night of PRCA action brought a range of emotions with great rides, fast runs and an empty saddle ceremony honoring those lost in the past two years.
Bareback rider Caleb Bennett got an 83 on a re-ride putting him into the No. 3 spot on the leaderboard with 168 on two but it was Tim O’Connell who had the victory lap with an 85.5 on Flying Five Rodeo’s Cougar Country.
Sterling Lambert was the only Nevada competitor to place tonight with a second-place finish in steer wrestling. His 5.5-second run puts him in tenth place on the leaderboard with 10.6 on two head.
Brody Cress’ 85.5 on Big Bend Rodeo’s Crash Gate was the ride of the night. That puts him in fifth place on the leaderboard with 161 on two.
The bulls had it tonight. Hayes Thayne had the only qualified ride with a 75.
