Rodeo fans encouraged to vote daily

RENO, Nev. – The “Wildest Richest Rodeo in the West” has been nominated for the USA Today’s 10Best Reader’s Choice travel award contest for “Best Rodeo.”

The nomination was carefully made by an expert panel, and the winner is determined by a public vote. The voting period ends July 6.

“We are extremely proud to receive this recognition and to be in the running alongside so many other historic rodeos,” said George Combs, general manager of the Reno Rodeo. “While we may not be together under the Nevada sunset this year, we can still band together and vote every day to bring this honor to our favorite rodeo.”
