Fun Facts about Cole: He is roping with his cousin at this year’s Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. He and Marcus Theriot grew up together and this is a dream come true for them. They roped together at the College National Finals Rodeo in 2021 representing East Mississippi Community College. This year they got off to a solid start in the buildings. Nearly one-fourth of Cole’s earnings came from San Antonio and Houston in Texas. He sealed up his first NFR qualification when he and Marcos won $3,750 at the Governor’s Cup in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. That money moved him into 13th . He knows with the money in the Thomas and Mack this year, the most important thing is getting there. He is the only NFR rookie on the heel side and is the first heeler from the state of Mississippi to qualify. He and Marcus will have fun in the grand entry representing their home state.
