Dustin Ratchford Wins 18th Iteration of PBR Stockyards Showcase at Cowtown Coliseum

FORT WORTH, Texas – At the eighteenth iteration of the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Stockyards Showcase inside the iconic Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas, Dustin Ratchford (Wynnewood, Oklahoma) went 1-for-2 to win the Challenger Series event.
In the opening round, Ratchford covered UR 815 (Scott Burruss) for an event-high 85 points to surge to the top of the event leaderboard.
While the Oklahoman was bucked off in the final round by Armageddon (Stockyards Pro Rodeo/Winston /Melton Bull Co.), tossed in 6.99 seconds, his Round 1 score was enough to cement the victory.
Ratchford’s first PBR win since 2019 netted him a key 46 Challenger Series points.
2002 PBR World Champion Ednei Caminhas (Indaiatuba, Brazil) and Anthony Lyons (Tulsa, Oklahoma) were the only other contenders to record a score Thursday evening, tying for second.
After failing to make the 8 in the opening round, bucked off by UR 08 (Scott Burruss) in 2.32 seconds, Caminhas locked in, topping Blue Moon (Stockyards Pro Rodeo) for 82 points in Round 2.
Lyons followed suit, riding CMSR 68 (Stockyards Pro Rodeo) for a matching 82 points in the final round after UR 808 (Scott Burruss) bested him in 4.46 seconds during the opening round.
The pair both secured a crucial 29.5 Challenger Series points.
Stone Cold Gangster (Universal Pro Rodeo/Rachel & Dustin Powell) led a dominant bull pen, earning the Bull of the Event title. Bucking in Round 1, the mighty bovine competitor bested Vitor Losnake (Bauru, Brazil) in just 2.62 seconds, marked an event-best 43.5 points.
