Fun Facts about Ty: He won the Rookie of the Year and the College National Finals Rodeo in 2018. His first WNFR in 2019 will always be a memorable one. He won rounds five and six. Five was Tough Enough to Wear Pink night, and Ty’s grandma, Peggy Harris, who was dealing with cancer was on hand for the win. Peggy is a former barrel racer and her husband, Joel who passed away in 2014, were big influences in Ty’s life. His family is very important to him and are among his biggest supporters. His father, Walt, is an entrepreneur and that has carried over to Ty who has been investing in real estate. His mom, Dorley, has been busy with Ty, his brothers, Braden, and Wyatt, and sister, Cheyenne.
