Fun Facts about Danielle: Danielle has learned a lot of lessons in her life about winning and losing. She finished 16th in the world a year ago and missed competing at the NFBR by a mere $614. She has suffered great personal loss with her father, grandmother and horse “Mo” all passing. Her father and grandmother both encouraged and supported her, and she is fulfilling her father’s dream for her. Her first competition in the arena was in team roping, which she still does today. She started breakaway roping with help from NFR barrel racer Kassidy Dennison and Bailey Bates when she was in college. She was at last year’s NFBR supporting her fellow breakaway ropers. This year she will have the support of the Navajo Nation, her competitors, and her family as she nods her head in the South Point Arena.
